The present moment is summed up for me in the Divine Providence – where you can clearly see how the Creator is present and watching us at every moment. This brings man to a deeper and higher faith in the Creator, and out of this faith grows gratitude. 

One can look at the depth of everything in reality and be thankful for it. When we do that we discover that everything in the world has so many layers upon layers, through which one can thank God for His miracles and wonders that are with us at every moment: health, children, breathing, vegetation, sky, and really everything is so miraculous. 

For me the image of the cabbage represents the simple everyday reality, which has so many depths through which one can reach infinity.
