The segulah of saying Psalm 86 eighteen times, while lighting 18 candles for the merit of the Tana Matia ben Charash, is well known. I am a person who does not do many Sgulot, but when I did this one, I felt a magical energy that connected me to G-d. I started crying. It was so powerful! so big! Something special full of strength, that I felt I had received a gift by actually doing the process itself even before receiving salvation! It suddenly became clear to me that when we light our little candles in this world, below, lights are lit upon us from above and connect to an absolute oneness that integrates physical and spiritual into one!
