I am named after my grandmother's sister who perished in the Holocaust at a young age, leaving no descendants. In a sense, I am her continuation. 

In my artwork, I chose to depict a climbing plant, most of which flourishes and develops, while invariably there are one or two branches that do not develop and have no continuity. The plant serves as a metaphor and symbol for the Jewish people, and its growth is a symbol of hope, that even if one branch is cut or does not develop, there is a promise of continuity and the flourishing of eternal Israel.
