The present moment is a moment of decision. The decision itself is the present moment. The present moment includes many forces within it. I chose the metaphor of a lioness, which represents for me the forces within me. At any moment I can choose where to direct my forces. The lioness inside me brings me to move and brings me to rest. The power of the lioness represents the immense powers required to nourish, nurture, preserve and protect my family. This power can be expressed in action, but can also be expressed in introspection and relaxation. The lioness represents a tremendous force that at any moment can decide where to direct its forces, therefore, the lioness represents the present moment.
