I chose to create a piece that deals with the issue of "light" that was trapped in the universe even before creation.

One of the questions I have had for many years is:

Why does it say in Bereshit that in the beginning there was light and only then were the starts created? What was the light source before them? Of course I knew the spiritual explanations, but our holy Torah is accurate and I knew that there must be a scientific explanation as well.

In 1924, Edwin Hubble, American astronomer, discovered more galaxies in space. Before the creation of these galaxies, just like with ours, the universe was pitch black, very dense and hot.

And inside this dense and hot black world, a radiation developed, known today as the cosmic background radiation.

In fact this radiation was a light trapped within the dense, hot, black world.

This artpiece abstractly describes the moment of creation in which the dark and concentrated matter reveals the light hidden within it, in the meeting between the faithful and scientific conceptions of the creation of the universe
