The painting depicts a piece of glass from a shattered candy bowl and scattered candies.

Mrs. Chana Ifergan, may God avenge her blood, the principal of "Bnot Hadassah" school, was murdered  in a terror attack in Jerusalem.
She was like a second mother to all her students. When a student was sent to the principal’s office for punishment, there was always a glass bowl full of candies on her desk — and before anything else, she would always first give the student a candy.

In the painting, the broken candy bowl symbolizes her ascent to Heaven in a storm, sanctifying God’s name. The shining candies express the sweetening of harsh judgment at its root.
