Lights and vessels – from childhood to old age.

A child has great light, but his tools to fulfill this light are small. As the child matures in life, the tools he acquires grow with him and allow him to fulfill the light within.

Where does this meeting take place? The meeting between the great light (the children) and the vessel (the elders and wise men that have acquired many tools)?

For me, this meeting point is on Seder night where the older generations pass on the traditions of the past according to the children's capacity.

"In this night that is full of story, generation meets generation, the great light is passed on, year after year, and slowly weaves itself into consciousness."
